Sabrina has maintained a general membership with The Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP) since 2020.

Achievements

Sabrina completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Windsor where she received her 

Bachelor of Arts, Honours degree in Psychology (with Thesis).


After earning her BA, she worked as a mental health counsellor, under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist, at the Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association (WETRA) followed by a counsellor position at Ahmad & Associates Clinical Psychology Services.


Subsequently, Sabrina went on to earn her Master of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology and Education from the 

University of Toronto, where in her graduate assistantship she was a participant in preparing the Casebook of Traumatic Injury Prevention for publication and authored the Overview section for the chapter on Sports and Recreation-Related Traumatic Injury Prevention Programs.


Additionally, Sabrina completed her MA Thesis on: The Long-Term Psychological Impact and Sequelae of Childhood Intrusive Medical Procedures, Treatments, and/or Hospitalization(s) due to a Serious Injury or Chronic Illness: https://tspace.library.utoronto.ca/bitstream/1807/96059/3/Amicone_Sabrina_201906_MA_thesis.pdf.

Practice

Sabrina is an advisor in mental wellness 

with a focus in teaching adults, adolescents, and children 

methods to maintain a healthy and balanced 

mental state and sense of self 

through regulating emotions, 

enhancing problem solving skills, 

building positive psychosocial skills; as well as, 

teaching mindfulness and personal growth concepts.




My Objective

My mission is to provide support and guidance that will improve one’s quality of life through assisting in the development and realization of an individual’s 

higher potential and capabilities.


We all wish to maintain a balanced, joyful, and realistic lifestyle. My hope is to help my clients accomplish this by empowering them with the knowledge, insights, and strategies necessary to appropriately adjust to life’s inevitable challenges and changes, as well as, strengthen their skills to effectively manage daily stressors and anxieties.
